Squace simplifies life for millions of mobile surfers

Squace is launching its Internet navigation software for mobile phones—a product that makes surfing, searching, and sharing links (share a square) as simple as the fixed Internet. Typing long addresses is no longer necessary.

“Seventy-five percent of mobile users find that poor user interfaces are the biggest barrier to using the Internet from mobile devices," says Aage Reerslev, Squace’s CEO. Meanwhile, about 1.5 billion mobile users will have Internet access through their mobile devices in 2008. Squace is the answer.”

Squace’s navigation technology reduces clicking up to 85%* compared with competing technologies. Squace users surf quickly, create new public and private content, and easily share links with friends and groups—a feature not possible with mobile browsers.

Squace is platform-independent, and the list of Squace—compatible phones is constantly expanding. It’s free, and it works with existing Internet standards.

Squace: many benefits, free of charge
Squace is used for specific services—besides allowing users to surf the Internet with as few clicks as possible. Companies, groups, schools, tourist information bureaus, for example, reach users via mobile devices. Some examples:

A day care center creates a site that is only accessible to parents. Parents check this week’s schedule (for example, opening hours and meals), find other parents’ contact details, and inform the center if a child will be absent.

Squace focuses on company services and provides intranet access via mobile devices. Companies can easily offer staff services, including employee contact information, product and price information, calendars, and corporate e-mail access—all without changing mobile phones or service plans.
